Santosh Trophy Football, an annual tournament within India by states and government instituyions. Santosh Trophy Football started in 1941 and the first winner was West Bengal. They are still having a good position in this tournament.

After a long break, West Bengal got the Santosh Trophy Football Championship. The Last championship was in 1999. This is teh 30th time West Bengal being the Champions.
